I was trying to save him about an 1200.00 bill by sending the pump to me instead of loading it up.. I'll check it for free..
The "stealer" is gonna charge him "diagnostic fees" then the labor to pull the pump & injectors, then mark-up whatever the pump shop is gonna charge them & then the labor to reinstall + taxes & environmental charges..
This way, all he'll have in it is about 30.00 in shipping charges..

Can you make another video cranking with the camera also showing what's coming out of the exhaust at the time? What I think I'm hearing is the first TDC fires but not strong enough to start, then its starved for fuel thereafter. Exhaust would be one puff of black then clear, if this is what's happening.

Good afternoon everyone! Thanks for all the kind offers of help with the tractor. I have a new update which to me is a big change. Basically I finally got the tractor to start today but it was making a knocking / clanking noise when it ran and had some smoke from the exhaust. I'd pulled it near the shed with my truck so I decided to just drive it real quick under the shed. As I backed up the noise cleared and it ran normally with no smoke from the exhaust. I got it under the shed and let it run for a few seconds and all sounded fine. Odd I thought. As I let off the clutch (with it in Neutral) the clanking noise started again, louder this time, with some smoke from the exhaust. Luckily I have this all on video. I did have the pretty much go full throttle with it to get it started which was far more than I'd usually have to do. It seems the strain on the motor causes the issue to come up. This may be why it shut down on me while cutting the other day. I did pull the injector pump off (intending to send it to thepumpguysc) but just felt like trying things again after I'd cleaned it good just to see if it worked. I have an area where we are planning to build a house that I need to cut and around the building we're living in until we get the house built that's grown up with the tractor being down. I ended up hitting all the area around the building with my weedeater (push mower died on me too lol) so was hoping maybe just maybe the tractor would work for me this time around. Close, but no cigar. Now the sound it is making concerns me.

Thanks, I just posted some videos and an update. It cranked but is making a clanking / rattling noise that sounds concerning with some smoke, but not all the time (it cleared up, then started back)
