I did something similar when my BX was new, but not as bad as yours. I bent one of the arms and managed to bend it back with an oversized adjustable wrench with a pipe on it for leverage. Nonetheless, I was extremely upset with myself, so believe me I can relate as to how you are feeling. At this stage, let the dealer come and get it and use your KTAC. I guess you'll have to find something to borrow for mowing until it's repaired. Best of luck.

I see several places where he should of STOPPED and gone no further, but the steps taken to get to the point it is now would be interesting to see recreated on video for a video of what NOT to do. And I have a neighbor that wants to use my BX..........

David

Yeah, I should have stopped but I figured i'd give it one last try get it straightened out. It's already messed up so how much worse can it get? At least that was my thought. I understand what you guys are saying though. I should have left it alone. At this point, I just want it out of my garage.

Thanks. I have two acres to mow so I need to figure something out. Maybe the dealer will give me a loaner ;)

That is a mess especially on a new tractor. As a suggestion for the future, leave the FEL arms on and just take the bucket off when mowing. The arms are very seldom in the way and a little extra weight won't hurt anything.

Let the mechanic deal with it from here on in or it will only get worse. It may even get worse with him working on it for a little while.

I'd rather not leave the arms on but I will definitely consider it. The front end is mangled and it's leaking hydraulic fluid so it can't get much worse.

Once you get good at it the entire thing goes off and on in less than 5 minutes.

Looks like the OP has the new quick FEL attach introduced with the latest model. I think the intent is for it to come off in far less than 5 minutes and doing it from the operator's seat!

This is sad and a little bit funny as well.
There will always be a price to pay for convenience and minimal thinking.
When it comes to easy and convenience, Every manufacturer is trying to out do their competition with home consumer based machines.
I laugh when I see the TV commercial of the Chick wearing a dress riding the John Deere. Pony tail swaying from side to side. :) So sexy. Give me a break...
She rides on top of that mower platform and the machine instantly connects.. No need to put down that Cellphone, you're ready to MOW!
Sooner then later, we will see a Manufacturer with a television ad showing a Pregnant Woman backing up to her ""instant connect""" 3-point snow thrower.
Yes,,, Back her up and she will become instantly attached similar to your mower deck.
Like two pieces of Velcro in bed with two magnets. Hey,, don't put down that cellphone.
You're good to go.
But,, If the smallest thing is overlooked = Major Malfunction.
BTW,,
If the Ten Minute QD-QR works so well on the consumer based machines,, why aren't the manufacturers offering it in their commercial line?
Big time Scam.

You have reported making your tractor damage worse in successive stages.

Operator error compounding operator error. I suggest you STOP. Let the dealer deal with it.

You will feel frustrated if the dealer keeps it for six weeks or longer, the time which may be necessary to get every replacement part for a new model.
I'm a farmer and started driving with real farm tractors when I was 6 years old.

This forum has intelligent people who think outside the box of agriculture. People who have time and resources to make modifications.

Unfortunately there are also a segment of people who should be put on a safety stand down.

To the OP. $$$$ check book $$$$ USE that before you kill yourself or someone else. (Lawn service)

Or HIRE a mentor.
