I'm pretty confident my dealer is going to take good care of me. It just sucks that I can't use the tractor until this is fixed. Right now I have no idea when that will be. The loader is basically hanging on the grill guard and I can't get it off.

I have Kubota insurance so if it's not covered under warranty I will use that.

At my Kubota dealer this would not be covered under warranty. It is operator error.

The dealers know how tightly defined warranty claims are by Kubota and all other tractor manufactures.

KTAC insurance is excellent. $250 deductible, then everything on KTAC, including transportation. I have had one claim on eachh of two tractors in seven years. KTAC is a model for how insurance should work, but usually does not. Your dealer functions as KTAC's adjuster.

I have a BX 24 and had all kinds of problems too. Found out you need to have a LEVEL surface to line everything up. Makes it easier. It was VERY frustrating getting it to line up until I started using concrete pad in garage. Just saying. Good luck getting your tractor running again.

While this may be true, I'm not 100% sure there isn't an issue with the mount or locking mechanism. I was positive I did everything correctly. Either way, I'm sure it will be covered.

well, I just tried again to get the loader off and I made it worse. Not only did I not get the loader off, the entire weight of the loader is on the hood and the left mount. The loader is practically sideways, so I'm not sure how secure it is. I can't set the bucket on the ground because it is hung up on the grill guard. So with all the weight of the loader on the right, the whole entire hood area is pushing to the left. The sheet metal on the right side is completely messed up and everything is twisting and nothing lines up anymore. What a complete mess.

Not sure if this would work, or if you have tried it. Have you put a floor jack under the side that is not locked in, and tried to lift up? That may take some of the weight off it, and may allow you to get it off the grill and allow it to settle to the ground.

That right side definitely needs to come up but I don't have a jack. I think you might have the right idea about using a floor jack to get it up and into the mount.

You have reported making your tractor damage worse in successive stages.

Operator error compounding operator error. I suggest you STOP. Let the dealer deal with it.

You will feel frustrated if the dealer keeps it for six weeks or longer, the time which may be necessary to get every replacement part for a new model.

I see several places where he should of STOPPED and gone no further, but the steps taken to get to the point it is now would be interesting to see recreated on video for a video of what NOT to do. And I have a neighbor that wants to use my BX..........

That is a mess especially on a new tractor. As a suggestion for the future, leave the FEL arms on and just take the bucket off when mowing. The arms are very seldom in the way and a little extra weight won't hurt anything.

Let the mechanic deal with it from here on in or it will only get worse. It may even get worse with him working on it for a little while.
