New BX23s

Oh awesome! I have 2 other tractors and this is the first brand new machine I have ever bought.

A quick story.....Came out to garage early this AM to pet it and she leaked hydraulic fluid on my floor!! Needless to say this was not the experience I was anticipating with a brand new purchase. Long story short, dealer swapped out tractors with me. Just brought me another one this evening about 30 minutes ago. When he got this one off the trailer and I was driving it and pressed the forward pedal the thing would die on me sporadically. It appears the seat safety switch was not making good contact......argh! Then I was playing with lights and the tail light was completely out. It was disconnected. I fixed that easily...but dang, brand new bota and two different ones had issues....albeit the second one was small issues.....but still....

Wow, that really stinks! Good that your dealer took care of you quickly, tho. So far, mines been perfect. Great dealer, did a PDI on mine just like a car, even waxed all the sheet metal!

Two of the local dealers here cant even keep up with the sales demand of the BX23S. Both dealers said that kubota is spreading them around and its hit an miss when they`ll get another one or two in stock. They ARE surely selling like crazy in my area. Friend of mine had an older kubota, came over and checked mine out, he went down to his dealer and ordered one the next day. he wanted to get the incentives and ZREO percent financing, so he jumped on the deal and got locked into it before the deals ended. he also told me that the MMM is on backorder status as well. Sure seeing ALOT of these kubota`s around here in my area... most popular brand here.

Same situation here....they're grabbed up as quick as they arrive. That's party why I was floored at the huge discount my dealer gave me, but hey, I'll take it! I suspect the incentives will cool down for a bit, to boost back up inventory. Glad I bought when I did!

I know what everyone is saying about these little machines following you home. Took a joy ride about a hundred or so mile to Danville ky last Monday and just so happened to have the trailer hooked to the truck and was driving and looked in the mirror and low and behold there was a bx2200 got on there some how. Couldn't just kick the thing off that would have been cruelty to tractors and probably would have been arrested and thru in jail.

Wish I could afford to trade in the old bx23 for a new 23s but the old one is still filling the bill. As far as the new/old bx2200 goes the little woman usuall mows the almost 4 acre yard and lately I have been using the hoe and loader and every time she wants to mow I had to drop off the loader and hoe and hook up the mower. She felt sorry for me and bought the 2200 just to mow and use the tiller when needed. These little machines make life lots easier.

Despite the troubles I am in love with mine. I did want to note, the loader valve hydro leak I had was not loose, it was cross threaded!

KF,
Your first paragraph bout made me fall outta the chair from laughing so hard... i can just picture that story...rotflmao. Awwww and your wife is a sweetheart for buying you another tractor, thats awesome, you are blessed.

When my wife an i bought our new BX23s, we had to talk to it, it knew we had a john deere at out house... so the lil bota was pitchin a lil attitude with us. We promised that we would feed her lots of diesel fuel and take really good care of her, so she jumped right on the hauler and came home with us. Now we hear a little bit of growling at night once in awhile... wife just hollers out the door and tells both JonnyDeere an Kayla Kubota to calm down... its all quite now, they seem to get along quite well now. My wife loves both these tractors... she even paid for have of the kubota... she thinks its cute...lol

They did. The dealer brought me a whole new different tractor.

I had also contacted Kubota corporate office customer service. To be honest they were really not any help at all. End result is the dealer came through, and it is over. I just expected corporate to be a little more helpful when they sent a machine to the dealer with cross threaded fittings. They were wanting to fix it....fix a brand new machine I had less than 12 hours....seriously?? That left a bad taste in my mouth.

Red,
i just saw the pics you posted.... god god, thats just unacceptable...PERIOD. The wire unplugged, easy fix, but it should have been mounted up out of the way so that it couldnt get hit and unplugged. Thats a quality control issue in both pictures...should NOT have happened.

Ohhhhhh man do i know what your talkin about... customer service with ANYTHING today is just terrible. They are just bean counting today, hopeing you`ll forget about it, then they dont spend any dollars. What a shame companies have become, all for the sake of feeding a bunch of fat CEO`s that do absolutely nothing but punish their workers and suck the life right out of the company.

Anytime i deal with customer service when i call them, i automatically tell the phone jockey to put their supervisor on the phone. I get things done much easier that way. Phone jockey`s are just little secretaries that just answer the phones, nothing more. They are actually a waste of time.

Anyway, i`m happy for you that you got it fixed. Hopefully your dealer didnt give you any trouble... by the sounds of it, your all good now... with exception to the bad taste. Hopefully you`ll never have to call customer service ever again. Knock on steel, our little BX23s has been wonderful so far, very happy with it.

Just an update on "Little Orange". I have bought several things for it, land pride grapple, frontier 4 foot bush hog, pallet forks, piraña tooth bar....anyway, ground is soft so I thought I would let the little man have a go at the backhoe. It is really funny how these thing are fairly intuitive for the little guys/gals....he's five and I gave him a chance to work it some. I made him stop and he said "Just 5 more scoops dad" I told him when he gets older he will have plenty of opportunity to do all the digging chores we have.

Very cool... you're a great dad and it is something he will never forget!
