You seriously can't post that headline with a straight face, last time I checked no solar fab is going to turn into Chernobyl.

So, you accepted a large public subsidy to add toxic waste by products to your home? Will you ever learn to stop believing alt right fake news?
I think the toxic waste is at the factory. Every energy source has its advantages, mass generation of public utilities electricity is NG and coal. I think that's decided science. Lol.

You want the electric system in the USA changed so a handful of electric car hobbies can play with electric cars. I don't think so...

No. I want people to stop whining about subsidies to solar, wind and electric cars since the existing power grid couldn't have been built without subsidies, eminent domain, taxes, and trampled property owner's rights.

No give aways here. All bought and paid for by the rate payer. As for rights trampled ? Who cared about powerlines down the edge of the road when it brought lights, powered cream separator, a fridge etc.

Get over it, it was over 100 years in making, and we're not changing it make you happy. No one gets paid in subsidies the government just gets less and that's fine with me. I think the concern is that wind and solar are never going to power America with reliable cheap power so why give them a break? That's settled science. They got subsides to explore the science and different technologies and it's a bust. Time to move on from wind ( ugly, kills birds, health risks, no one wants it in their back yard, it's up to 20 times more expensive, not 24/7 reliable), and solar (simple doesn't scale up, is unreliable). NG from fracking is clearly the best fuel. Times they are a changing.

Keep dreaming. Wind is on par with coal, cars kill way more birds and other animals than wind, and ask IA farmers if they want wind on their land. The answer is yes. Some make more money from wind than from farming. Coal is bust and fracked NG wells have short producction life.

But why go through the expense and trouble, it's not as convenient as ice. Why do it? You are asking for sacrifice for a problem that doesn't exist.

Notice Volvo is adding electric cars? Do they know something you don't?

Yeah, they are going out of business. Volvo is now owned by the Chinese, the quirky little Swedish car manufacturer you once knew is gone. The flagship S80 is now made in Malaysia. It's the new State communist car, want one?
