John Deere Farm Family Wedding!

A friend of mine just had a daughter get married. While not all of their tractors (22 of them) are John Deere's, they are the most favorite. The "Model T" was finished, just in time, and especially, for the wedding. Let's throw a few round bales in for "the cake"!

I noticed that too! I also noticed that there are none of those green things that were made in the last 20 years - no wonder they still like Green.

No, I said "They have 22 tractors, but they like the JD's 'best'". They also have Internationals and others. Yes, they use the Case quite often ... it's was even used to remove 5 of my tree stumps.

All of the new tractors have amazing features, if they don't quit working. At that point, it's big $$$ to get them back to work!

My brother on the farm was always a huge green fan but after they redesigned to the 7000/8000 series he was not as enamored. When his 7800 had 6000 hours on it and he wanted to trade it he found out he could only get $20k for it. They still run a lot of the older green 4020, 4450, 4955, 4960, etc. and one newer 4wd with GPS autosteer (which was the sole reason they bought it) but their is no love for green paint anymore except if its old. (The 4450 has 24,000 hours and had its 1st major at 22k hours. They still use it daily for a variety of odd jobs.)
