I think they very effectively busted quite a few myths. More so in the early days. At other times their methods and conclusions were suspect. Most of the later part of the series was just various excuses for blowing things up. Which is also enjoyable. I wish the show was still on.
As far as the Levis logo, well, it doesn't actually claim that the jeans can withstand two horses, it only suggests that once, a pair of their jeans was pulled on by two horses. It certainly implies that they could....and the Myth Busters put the implied claim to bed. Even when I watched that episode I was expecting the horses to at least have to lean into it a bit. They did not. They did not appear to strain in the least.
