Greetings all: I've been reading about "air entrainment" in hydraulic systems. My question is, once the air is "entrained" into the oil, will it come out if the oil is allowed to sit? In other words, if the oil/fluid is drained into a bucket and the bucket allowed to sit in the shop for a period of time, will the air finally separate from the fluid so that the fluid can be reused?

In ordinary circumstances this happens automatically in the sump fairly quickly as the tractor sits parked.
