Hard to beleive - suspect ran over victim with a backhoe

Not to mention, a good operator can get nearly 2 feet more than they're rated for.

So if you did a pit about 10 feet deep, with a sloped side and drive the backhoe down into the hole, and start digging again, I would think a good operator could easily get 24 feet deep, before starting the third level. Water level might come into play at some point!

I believe the confessee's family was in the construction buisness so it was probably a professional grade backhoe.

Great... so now the family's construction business is going to be down a TLB with a 'professional grade' backhoe. The Police are going to impound it for forensics and trial evidence; that's going to take many months or years before they can get it back.

The perpetrator is in serious trouble and is probably going to be grounded for more than a few weeks!

Where can I see pics of the BBQ pig roaster?
Seems to me it would be fair to the local taxpayers if the PBA held an auction and sold off the roaster and hoe to highest bidder. Would want service records on the hoe too...
I'm offering $100 over best offer from those at the auction. Cash discount?

This occurred a few miles from my place, on the other side of the Delaware river. Its in an area of a few active and some overgrown farms like the site in question but its surrounded by McMansions in the $600,000 to $5 million range. There was a lot of "this just doesn't happen around here". I was thinking "Fried Green Tomatos"

My wife told people that asked why we bought a tractor that it has a FEL and she can dig holes with it to bury the bodies if needed. A few years later, when those same folks asked how things were, she responded, we have a backhoe now, I can dig deeper holes now.

Of course my wife was just kidding, but serious, why ask why someone that lives in the country would buy a tractor?

Not trying to hit on your wife, but I like the way your wife thinks!!!
Heck, I don't even ask why people in the city buy a tractor, much less people in the country!
