I have been thinking of making a new dolly for my BX23 backhoe.
I have a wooden one made of 2X4s and plywood. The problem is that it is too high. It makes it difficult to remove the backhoe without hitting/bending the back fender.
I was thinking if I made a metal one out of 1x square metal tubing I could get the top lower. By making the castors sort of outriggers, I was hoping to get the top no more than 2 inches off the floor. This may make it easier to remove since it is like placing it on the ground not on a platform 5 inches in the air.
What do you all think?
Thanks,
