Kubota B2650HST. Kubota Z125S
My Kubota Z125S has 27 hours and has had the mower belt come off 7 times. It started at 4 hours, then 7 hours, then more frequently. Last week the drive belt (HST belt) snapped while I was mowing.

I called this dealer (not where I bought it) looking for the drive belt and we started talking. He said there is something wrong, and he will take a look at it, and he will even pick it up because I don't have a trailer.

This mower is really making me mad. It is not fun to pull the deck to get the belt back on; with all the practice I can do it in 40 minutes. We'll see what happens, and I really appreciate the fact that he did notice a problem and will investigate.

Interesting that the dealer where you bought it is not the one picking it up. Hope the new one gets it figured out.

Oh, I should have explained. I did call the dealer that sold me the mower, and just asked if they had a belt in stock. He said no so that was that. I never mentioned the belt problem because I figured they were going to deny a belt problem. It wasn't until I called the other guy (looking for the belt) that he asked why the problem. We got to talking and it developed into this. Nothing wrong with the other guy, other than maybe not picking up some clues.

UPDATE FROM OP: it's been a while so I want to update the outcome of the repairs. This mower has been at the dealer more than its been at my house because The deck belt kept coming off (sometimes 20 minutes, sometimes 2 hours).The dealer and Kubota both worked on this problem, the service manager came to the house to look at what O mow (no problems) and the factory g up came to the house to look at it.

I got it back recently and it now works like a Kubota. Great performance as I cut high grass, low grass, dry grass, wet grass, fast, slow, upper cut height, lower cut height. No issues at all. Dealer said they tweaked the spindles/pulleys/snubbers etc. High marks to this dealer for finding the problem and fixing it. There the southern most dealer in Maine and have locations in NH too.

That’s good news. I have a 122 and love it. I have been concerned with the belt issue but it hasn’t happened to me. It seems to be a bit random.
