Hi Everyone,
It's been quite a while since I have posted. I still have 13 little tractors and I just bought a new JD x-590 . I been working in the shop the last month for the first time in many months. My project was the workshop !!! Cleaning it . I cleaned every nook and cranny and painted the ceiling , the walls and the floor. Put new foam pads on the floor and new floor matts. Even painted the old drill presses , belt sanders and bandsaw. I hauled out 5 full barrels of scrap metal, gave a way 3 wire welders, one lincoln buzz box, one plasma cutter, 10 air tools, 2 air compressors , 2 kerosene heaters, a box of hydraulic hoses and cylinders, u-joints, 25 garden tractor tires and rims. Also gave away my cutting torches and half full tanks. I had saved some stuff for over 20 years and it feels great to see the shop clean again. I am excited to start a new project so if all goes well I will post much sooner next time. don'pic aug 2017 045.JPGdon'pic aug 2017 046.JPGdon'pic aug 2017 048.JPGdon'pic aug 2017 049.JPG

I was thinking the same thing! Sadly too far away...

You could have painted a few surfaces Green & yellow!!

I might be blind but I couldn't see a door big enough to get a X590 through??

Having a clean and clutter free shop sounds like a great thing to me!!!! Currently I'm losing the battle to my wife who seems to be acquiring more junk then I ever thought of, and to her, it's all super important. Eventually I'll have to build another workshop and abandon this one to her.

That shop looks great, so much easier to work in and find tools.

This post is going to cause me to be very depressed when I go back out to my shop.

The little shop has a 6 foot wall section that opens into the front garage to drive the garden tractors in and out. I had no plans to start giving all that stuff away . I was having a hard time giving away the scrap metal so I sweetened the deal and went a little crazy giving so much away . The first guy didn't want to come back for more ??? So the next guy was surprised when I started throwing good stuff on the pile. It was actually nice to see it all go. I still have one of everything and at my age that is plenty, ha,ha. I recently bought a brand new GMC truck , I almost bought a new Ford F- 150 but they would not budge on the price. So my 21 year old GMC with only 34,000 miles wasn't worth much so I bought 35" tires , new wheels and a 6" lift kit for it. I love how it looks now and it should go good in the snow , ha,ha. My daughter , son in law and grandson love driving it around. I sold my jd 110 custom tractor and my jd 140 custom tractors 2 weeks ago . But I still have 13 little tractors , LOL Here is a couple pics of my truck and the tractors loaded up .don's phone 2017 131.JPG
