I'm curious as to where your new Tacoma was assembled. I toured the plant in San Antonio, but was also informed that some are built in Mexico.
Texas builds them for the US market, safety, EPA etc.

Nice find, but boy oh boy does that thing scream for some dress up wheels. LOL

This fall we will purchase another set of wheels that we'll put snows on.
Yeah, in MI they use a lot of salt on the roads. I would use your steel wheels for snows, and
aluminum cast wheels for the other months. Salt is really bad on Al, but Al is much lighter and
gives a better ride.
Most Toyota trucks now seem to have cast Al wheels.
Many of our friends with aluminum wheels, find stress cranks in them after they hit higher mileages and need to replace them. Our SR has steel wheels. In fact all our autos have steel wheels.
