Ford 3400 govener issue.

I have been working on my new to me ford 3400. I'm going through all the maintenance and fixing anything that needs it. Today I found that the govener arm is falling off the carb. I pulled the arm out and the clip is broken. I can't find any parts online. I'm going to check the hardware store in the morning. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can attach the arm.

Sorry.......I cannot offer any assistance on where to obtain that clip, but I assume it may have been used on many other tractors other than just Ford.
I wish you luck on refurbishing your 3400.
It is a truly great machine.
Mine is a 1970 (gas) TLB that I bought (1350 hrs.) in 1986.
Currently has 1850 total hours. I refurbished it just last year.
I have owned mine for 31 years, and will NEVER sell it!

That's exactly why i went with the 3400. Everyone who has had one loved it. I just got it it has 1900hrs on it. I am excited to restore it and bring it back to service. I doubt I will ever need another tractor.
