It is 21 Micron according to WIX, which would be pretty typical for Diesel engine oil filter.

That is free information - who knows how accurate that is, but please let us all know when or if you find out?

That would be the Wix filter, but who knows what the Kubota should be? I would not know where to find that.

In my opinion it is not worth the chance of receiving the wrong type of filter for my kubotas. I have 3 kubotas and I do gripe at myself when I pay the kubota price for filters but the money I have in the kubotas I want what is right. That also goes for the diesel, good quality oil and kubota hydraulic oil. Why take chances when you pay so much for your equipment. Again this just what I do, everyone should do what is best for themselves.

That is good to know, however the OP was asking where he could buy filters at reasonable price.

WIX and Napa sell pretty high quality aftermarket filters - let's hear it if anyone has experienced otherwise?

I am not affiliated with either of them and do not get a paycheck from them.

I realize this post was started some time ago, but go online and search "oil filter cross reference" and there are a number of helpful web sites. I simply looked up the NAPA filter part number then cross referenced it.... the resulting list was extensive and included basic fram filters available at Walmart locally. Some of the older tractors filters may not be as easy to find, but most are pretty generic sizes and easy to cross reference and find at most auto part stores.

I quit using the WIX cross reference when they spec their 50 micron screen filter for the water blocking diesel fuel filters on my BX-2230, G2160 and RTV1100. Maybe when WIX fixes this SCREWUP I will use them but until then THE WIX CROSS REFERENCE TOOL IS WRONG. And like Neil says for some Kubota HST charge pump filters their is NO CROSS.

Yes I agree 50 micron would be pretty coarse even as a primary, or pre filter for Diesel!

I run all fuel through 10 micron filter coming out of the storage tank and would expect better filtering at least in the secondary filter of mower or tractor.

Same here. I've got a 550gal tank in my Barn with a 2qt spin on 10 micron water absorbing filter mounted on my 12v 20gpm pump.

I also have a quick connector elc plug wired to battery on all 3 tractors & ZD1211 for painless fill ups
