I have a 3910 2wd, we've managed to break a lift arm over years carrying hay bails. The bails weight is causes the arms to bend side to side and one finally broke at point where the sway chains attach. When i do a parts search for lift arms it gives me the arm that are attached to shaft up by the seat that actually do the lifting, I need to ones that attach to attachment and tractors it's self.

1. What is that arm called and where can I buy quality one at a decent price?

2. Can I convert to a 3930 system, and would it really be stronger?

Thank you

Look in the New Holland parts book online for the 3910 under the HYDRAULICS section. Then find the following tab:
(05D04) - HYDRAULIC LIFT LINKAGE(81/)-2810,2910,3910,4610,4110,3910N,4110N,4610N; (82/84)-3910V,4110V,4610V.
Converting to the 3930 system would be very expensive, although stronger. But my question is why are arms twisting? Can the mount for the lift be modified to allow the arms to lift straighter or prevent twisting?

Never weighed them, 5x6 is what started them flexing, the guy that now does our baling uses 5x4. I still have to back up the hill to keep the front in down and the bale off the ground. Any how more than is healthy for the tractor I'm sure. I finished it off bush hogging, I got a good deal on heavy duty woods 5 foot I think.

It's more side to side motion than twisting, I need heavier stay arms too. I think my factory one got picked up for scrap steel, long story, one i got from coop are flimsy.

thank you both

The PO of my 2120 welded I think 1/2 x 1/2 bar stock to the bottom of my arms. He may have had the trouble you describe. Seems to work fine.
