Cowboy bumper/ grill guard

I've got an Iron Cross bumper on my Ram 1500. I have not rolled it yet... so I can't say for sure how it would hold up! It seems plenty strong though. I bought it off the internet from CARiD.com - Auto Parts & Accessories | Car, Truck, SUV, Jeep with free shipping. It was delivered to my house in Atlanta THE VERY NEXT DAY! I was shocked and elated at the same time.

I grew up in west Texas, where running over deer was a somewhat common occurrence. My father used Ranch Hand front/rear, and I built my own patterned off of his. They have splattered many a deer with no effect whatsoever on the truck. There are loads of manufacturers on the market now, most of which I find hideous. I believe it's because I grew up with the channel iron and schedule 40 pipe bumpers so that's what I like. To each his own.

There is an alternative to Ranch Hand.

I agree, I'm kinda partial to i-beams, channel or pipe.

I've been looking at "American Built" too. They're local to me and cheaper than Ranch Hand

At face value, they look pretty good. Just make sure you take a peek on the backside to make sure they aren't cutting corners somewhere. Steel is expensive so skimping there is the easiest way to be able to offer a similar looking product at a lower price.
