Chevy engine whistle

IIRC, it's summat to do with where the EGR valve used to be, carbon build up in the passageway, I didn't have time to really research it.
On an unrelated note, I've finally found a method that seems to keep the check engine light off on vehicles with gutted catalytic converters....(that pesky cat inefficient code) not that I would ever, ahem..., condone that type of behavior, best of all it's cheap. So my Dodge Ram will pass inspection this time around, as will my friends Tahoe, which I used as a guinea pig. 3 days since the patch job, no readiness monitors unset, no check engine light.

:drink:

Did I mention it was cheap? :D 7 bucks for the dodge, 12 bucks for the chevy(it's got two sensors...) Note: When removing the O2 sensors, drive it for 30 minutes or so, get them good and hot, oh, and wear long sleeves and gloves........I learned that the hard way. Added expense would be a 1/2" drill bit, but I already had one.

Yeah, I learned the 30 min thing when I replaced the whole brake system on my 07 Siverado--Thought I did something wrong. After driving it around for a bit everything turned out perfect.
