A couple days after having underground service ran to the new shop, I decided to start working on getting the yard back in shape, oh yea, it rained 4 inches the night the backhoe left. IMG_2287.JPG

The old 4020 saved the day.IMG_2288.JPG

Did something very similar with my old L3130;problem was I didn't have the FEL on;I had my snow plow and sub-frame installed.I was able to lift enough to get some planks underneath and got myself out.Didn't have a second tractor at the time.

If you need a bright side to look on...
I think you just extended your seat time.

Very observant. I live the next state over, so I could be wrong, but around here we have Gray Cranes with long legs that fly like that.

Yea, herons and cranes fly with their legs tucked back. If it was a snake it would have to be frozen...lol

Based on picture number two, your barn looks impressive but your living quarters-- not so much ...

Hey, only the right side is stuck

I thought the same thing.

My father in law was a great man and he told me one tractor by itself is helpless. I sure learned what he meant. Found a small excavator is handy to pull tractor out for normally hard to get it where it needs help.

We have a few of those cranes, not sure what kind they are, that fly over and have their legs stuck out. Yep it might be one of those. My first thoughts of the birds were maybe buzzards waiting for the bota to die in the mud. They should have known that would never happen. lol

I had a very similar incident with my 1531 massey ferguson. It was down so bad about like you little tractor. I was afraid to pull on it for fear of breaking something. I made a sling and lift the tractor out of the mud with my allis Chalmers. I did not know if the allis Chalmers would do it or not. It struggled but finally lifted it put. The old allis didn't want any more.

You just gave me the best excuse to keep the old Fordson Power Major. The wife says I don't need it now that I have a new Kubota she can drive.

Hey - no damage, no foul. He was just doing some "deep leveling" with the box scraper. BTW - I don't have a second tractor but hopefully I learned all I need to know about being stuck in the mud with my first tractor(Ford 1700 4WD). Thank God for good neighbors and their big tractors. Had my Kubota eight years now and stayed unstuck so far.

When you are really stuck - color makes little difference, if it pulls you out.

If you don't get stuck or hung up every now and than your not KA's.

Sandhill cranes. Apparently they taste like steak. They are the only other crane species found in the USA besides the rare whooping crane. Sometimes you can see flocks of thousands. I've photographed huge numbers of them. Cranes fly with straight necks, herons and egrets bend their necks.
