Good Deal...

An equipment shed has got to be one of the best cost wise for keeping equipment in order... looks good.

Looking forward to more pics. Are you using 2x4 metal tubing? I have some of that and it's super heavy. Good thing you have those forks!!!

Hello Eddy, Yes I am using 2x4 metal tubing. The rafters are 30' long. 2' spacing. I will post pictures as I progress along. It is a slow go working along. Some times I need to be at both ends at the same time.

You and the wife have a great evening.

I like how you hold your framing in the air. When one tractor isn't enough, use 2!!!!!

That's quite a project!! Looks good!!

Did you use 2x4 metal tubing for strength over the span? And what brand/model of forks do you have for the front of your tractor. I need to pick up something like that.

Eddie the big tractor is holding the rafters up off of the temp header (wood post with temp header). I am using the little tractor to put in place the permanent steel header. That header is mid-span of the 30' addition I am adding on. The header is made with 1.. 4"x4" x 1/4" sq tubing and 2.. 2"x 4" tubing. Support post are 4"x4" x1/4" tubing set in the ground 3' in a 12" hole with rebar. Each post has 3 or 4 80# bags of sakrete.

Some details of the header I installed.
