Hi all,
I'm not trying to start a grease debate here, but what are you guys using in your 110 TLB's? The parts guy at my local dealer sold me a tube of the green SD Polyurea Grease TY6341, but when I referenced the manual, it mentions using a moly grease like HD Lithium Complex Grease with 3% Moly TY6333 (gray stuff).
Are these two greases above compatible? I'm guessing NO. Some of the fittings on the loader and hoe probably need something that can take some occasional shock/abuse and I'd like to try and use one type of grease if possible.
This is straight from the manual:
"IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Use recommended John Deere greases to avoid component failure and premature wear.
The recommended John Deere greases are effective within an average air temperature range of -29 to 135 degrees C (-20 to 275 degrees F).
If operating outside that temperature range, contact your Servicing dealer for a special-use grease.
The following grease is preferred:
キ John Deere Moly High Temperature EP Grease
If not using the preferred grease, be sure to use a general all-purpose grease with an NLGI grade No.2 rating.
Wet or high speed conditions may require use of a special-use grease. Contact your Servicing dealer for information."
