John Deere 3140 Fuel Sending Unit Seal Leaking

Is there a way to snug this up more? I don't see a nut to turn. Not sure how to snug it up if its possible. Fuel is leaking out from behind it though.

Check if piping is loose on that sender ? Do not turn sender by using piping as a handle ! It seals with an O-ring

It's not the piping for sure. Its coming from behind the flange / plate of the sending unit and fuel tank.

If I turn the sending unit will that snug it up?

drain fuel to below sender ...remove sender by turning it anti-clockwise....clean o-ring ...re-install by turning it clockwise till you feel it click in the lock posision about 1/8 turn
