You sure grow em big out in Missouri! Nice bucks!

Northern Missouri where the grain is. Our bucks down in southern Missouri are for the most part runts. They eat acorns and browse. It is all about the available food.

Yep. I'll try to find a picture my large farmer friend sent me of a buck he got this Fall. It's the most unusual rack I've ever saw. He nicknamed it Corkscrew. I told him it's that way from eating all that Dale Farms rotten grain!!!! With 20,000 acres of corn and beans I often wonder how many semi loads they lose to Deer and Turkeys each year??

Very nice. You just never know how many things you will use a UTV for until you have one, and then wonder how you survived before getting it. Did they use the front loader on your tractor to skin them out?

Thanks Eddie,

Yep, pretty spoiled aren't we!!! As a kid hunting we always carried small rope of baler twine in our pockets to use for dragging a deer out of the timber to the truck by hand. :)

The reason they were loaded and moved before doing any kind of field dressing is the large one was dropped about 50ft from the stand. More hunting will be done there so we don't "mess" the area with blood and guts. They used the RTV to haul them away from the site. Used ropes and hanged them in the shed for dressing.

We use the UTV if possible but I hunt alone during the week most times(retired) and it's a bit difficult to load one by your-self(last years weighed 212# dressed) so I run the tractor to the kill site and roll into the bucket and field dress at home.Hanging to field dress is much easier than on the ground.

Definitely!!! I've sure dressed a lot of them in the field. It's a challenge when by yourself. Just having someone to hold a leg now and then is a huge help!!!!
