BTW, with large feet/boots, be careful getting "off" the tractor. It's way too easy to get a boot hooked or stuck in the HST treadle area and if you happen to fall off the platform or can't steady yourself, it would be a bad injury. I have come close a couple times and am very careful. I believe they eliminated the clutch pedal on your 3301, but on my 3200 it's another obstacle to dance around.

Disembarking has not been an issue. Likely from learned moves getting off the Iseki. With that machine, I have to dance around clutch, brake, intrusive gear shift, aux. foot throttle and parking brake lever! All in less floor space than my new L33101.

Now, what would be handy is a grab handle on the left side loader post for getting down. But I think some mirrors might win out on that mod.

The L3301 HST still retains a clutch peddle. Although not sure why. Perhaps just hold over from the chassis design. Has not been an issue there for foot room.

I normally would prefer a sight glass for simplicity, but I have heard more than one person on here have to replace theirs because it leaked. It sure is hard to see the level with the color of Kubota's UDT. I will probably add some dye (Deere sells some) when it comes time to change my fluid.
I did that on my L3200. JD red for the win. I hated that sight glass, even with the red though. Might even add some JD red to my new L4060 which has a dipstick. Still hard to read that crystal clear Super UDT2 on a dipstick. But it's a huge upgrade from that Sam sight glass.

Don't you need the clutch to start the PTO still? Did on my L3200hst. I really never bothered when stopping the PTO though, just made sure there was no load on it & flipped the lever. Unless it was an emergency than I hit the clutch.

Why even cut the nuts off, just get a bit longer bolts and install them allowing the nuts to be the spacers.

Considered that, but....A: I didn't have longer metric bolts on hand...B: I wanted more surface area for the peddle to mount against, didn't feel original nuts provided that.

Don't worry, you actually got the entire word wrong -- it's a treadle, not a pedal.
