It seems that the Iseki did not move up the list of common tractors. That being said, I've found mine to be quite reliable and fully functional for my needs. It seems to be robust with minimal maintenance. There are some salvage places where you might find tins for your restoration. One is Southern Global in Mississippi. Good luck with the project.

Thanks for the quick reply! I will definitely look into them! Will be quite the roadtrip coming from Canada

They are indeed robust little tractors, it runs very well. I've had it up to the floorboards in mud and it just keeps trucking on through.

Hello, hate to resurrect a thread from the dead, but I also have a TU1700, however mine is 4wd, and missing nearly all the tin work and wiring. It was in a shop fire, and miraculously survived (mostly). I was wondering if those Iseki's are popular down in the southern states. My dad and I are looking to buy all the tin work we need.

Here is our poor little Iseki. But she runs and drives great!

There is a whole tractor on KIJIJI in Hamilton for $6900 but it looks like it may be close to your tractor to give you an idea what the tin looks like. Ad ID 1309268828

I saw that one, unfortunately it is much newer than mine (and nicer as well)

It sure does have an interesting front loader though!

As far as I can tell this brand is much more popular in Europe, New Zealand and Australia. I don't know why Iseki stopped pushing here in the USA.

I wouldn't think it was because of market saturation because look at all the machines from India, China and South Korea there are.

Shouldn't your front wheels be switched side to side so the tires are pointed in the right direction?

As far as I know, Iseki never marketed directly in the USA. I don't know why, maybe because of the extra hassle, competition, etc. Any Iseki tractors that made it here under "Iseki blue" are considered gray market tractors. Bolens, White, and Massey Ferguson were the only gateways to commercial marketing that I am aware of for Iseki in the USA. And currently, I'm not even sure if any are offered under MF anymore - heck, I'm not even sure if MF is still around either with how fast companies are getting juggled around these days!

Update - looks like MF is still around but I can't seem to match up their smaller tractors with any currently offered from Iseki.

I've seen the same thing, there's a lot of videos on YouTube of Iseki's in Europe.

And yes, they were facing the wrong way, they are pointing the correct direction now aha, as well as turned so the footprint of the tractor is wider as well.

I turned mine around "backwards", to get more traction backing up out of the silt.
