That's hilarious! he says he talked to the federal government and they gave him "verbal permission", but the government says this is the first they are hearing about it. There's 2 weeks worth of red tape to get any answer from the government, so I can't imagine them giving verbal permission to launch a rocket on federal land.

Hah! Looks like you found the fatal flaw in his logic. I hope he reads your post before the other fatal flaws reveal themselves!

I've already found several flaws in his plan. Their own website said that you had to be at like 40,000 feet before you could see the curvature of the earth. Their website also said photo evidence was not credible because it's too easily edited. I guess he plans on drawing a crayon sketch instead. And if I couldn't make it to 1800 feet with remote control aircraft I'd use a weather balloon instead. Either approach isn't going to kill the operator. And cost way less.

There was a man that jumped out of a balloon in 2012 from an altitude if 127,000 feet. That seems like a way better idea than the rocket. I guess we're clearly not dealing with the sharpest tool in the shed.

My first thought on reading it was that I thought any significant size or altitude launch required FAA approval. So if they are all in some grand conspiracy to trick everyone into round earth why would they approve the launch?

Or more accurately they'll deny the launch so they don't get sued for him launching his death trap.

Uh negative. They will deny the launch- but only to continue the coverup. Why do you think they are limiting the height a drone can fly? They don’t want you to know the truth- It’s all a big flat scam!

I guess they should remove the windows from all commercial plans too. Oh wait they're already curved glass and that's what makes the earth look round.

Kyrie Irving believes the Earth is flat. It is not. - The Washington Post

Don’t know whether to be more concerned [about new Boston Celtic] “Kyrie Irving believes the Earth is flat.” Or that the title added, “It is not.”

Thanks for the link. I was curious what actually happened, or didn't happen. Love the excuse for not going. They government wont let him launch from public land. I guess he is worried about paying the fine when he comes back down?

Well, “Next week,” has gone by without a launch.

He’s used up his 15 minutes.
