Buying Advice Big Orange finally at the fort!

Some times I wish this property was in southern Arizona - along about Feb. But that's not too often.

Scott, noticed you went with R4s. Are they working good with the subsoiler?

One thing I was curious about is the grand series I looked at had a right side step. I’ve noticed some I’ve seen online have the box like yours does on the right instead of a step. I was really hoping for a step there as I hate being limited to entering exiting the station from only a single side. Are those hydro hoses for the third function in that box or something else?

Thanks for your updates. I ended up ordering a 6060 over the 4760 I was considering primarily because of some of the replies back to your posts earlier. I am supposed to take delivery mid month if all goes well.

R4 are working well once I got the air pressure set right with the filled tires
They had 25 PSI in the rears so I dropped em to 15 and all is well.
The filled tires and psi to 13-15 and the subsoiler with the 6060 - even with the R4s with it as wet as it is here right now I have to watch my speed while ripping (1 mph or just under) or I can snap the shear bolt on the ripper shank with no warning - don’t ask me how I know about the speed or the shear bolt working as designed ......
LOL
Traction is NOT an issue.

I know the trade offs for ag vs R4 so I operate accordingly when it’s really wet.

I thought the same thing with the single step off the left but now with some hours it’s really not a big deal at all - at least for me - I don’t even notice it.
Those are the main hydro and the 3rd function cluster (I got a 4-1 bucket). They are all well routed and protected - don’t expect any issues.

The 4-1 set up is a total win win for me
The subsoiler pulled this Cooper Mini out of the ground and the bucket did the rest - and moving brush piles so I can sub soil
What a workhorse !!!

I have ZERO buyers remorse with this set up
Only problem I have is why I waited so long to get it.

Scott good to hear. Good to know about the tire pressure. I had a third function added but planned to get a root grapple from EA. I have tons of debris to cleanup that I figured a root grapple would tackle better for my mess :)
