Woo Hoo! Snow in Hattiesburg, MS this fine morning.

Down here in Southeast La we had 10,000 homes without electrical power in my parish (county) because the snow was so heavy that huge limbs broke off and pulled the lines down. My neighbor had his service line ripped from his house. DEMCO just hooked him back up about 3 hours ago. My generator ran 22 straight hours before my power was restored.

I didn’t get to use a snow plow but got some seat time picking up limbs and cutting up downed tree tops most of Saturday on my place. Helped a neighbor that has the flu with his limbs.

One of the best weekends I can remember since the Great Blizzard of ‘08

Gotta love it. And a guy from Canada and another from pa said it was mild here (kansas). Said it was fall is All we got. We missed snow, but been cold here. The lady with the snowman takes me back to my childhood.

Got between 2-4" here near Houston, TX. Wasn't even that cold, only got down to 33-32 deg F. Snow gone by noon.

Here is yesterday morning in Boone, NC:
Am unusual amount of snow for early December, even in the mountains. And it's not going anywhere. Forecasts are for 41 degrees tomorrow then highs below freezing for most of the week.

Yes, we enjoyed. It stayed calm and just below freezing long enough for me to plow the drive. Since it's supposed to say cold we didn't want to drive on the snow and have it turn to ice on hour steep driveway. But it was dry enough to plow nicely so we could get in and out, and otherwise just enjoy.
