One paper I read said it takes 1-5 years for the urushiol to degrade.

JD put some stupid little bottle with hoses running from the aux couplers to catch the few drops of oil that might be lost. I can't believe for the life of me, that the VERY ecologically minded Germans (except for the automakers) have not addressed this most annoying issue.

Amazon has the BLACK+DECKER LCS1240 40V MAX Lithium Ion Chainsaw, 12" on sale for $91.
It's no stihl or 80V but I've bought two for about $110@ and they are a great bang for the buck.
I just looked on that site and there is also a B&D polesaw that uses the same LiIon battery. It looks like my older 18V NiCad polesaw
and is about the same price as the Lynxx and Ryobi. Still no oiler at all for the B&D polesaw. At least it does not
leak oil.....
I grew up around poison ivy in OH, MI, and MA. Same as PO. Found out the hard way not to burn it.....

Didn't read too much into it but how are they oiling the chain on the pole saw? Do you
oil it with squirt can?
