bucket float function is when ur bucket can run along the contour of the ground without you the operator having to do anything. Reasons you would use it. Pushing snow off your driveway things like that where you want the bucket to skim the surface but thats it.

The 11,500 can be talked down or atleast i think it could be. You will have more buying power if you are paying in cash.

No idea what a bucked float function is, on either the loader or the backhoe. Would you mind enlightening a noob?

But, I am looking at getting a Massey Ferguson either 1710 GC or 1720 GC. Thank you for the write-up.

You are right, some of the other color tractors are horrifyingly expensive. A dealer next to me as a Massey 1705 GC with loader for about 11,500 new...not sure if it's a good price or not...

I would have to agree, that's not far off what I was pricing 1715's for when I was shopping. And, cash is your friend if you can swing it, 0% or low rate financing will inflate the price to cover the cost of financing.

Tractorhouse.com is a good place to check prices. You can do a search for whatever model you're interested in. They have ads from all over the country and you can get a very good idea of the range of prices. Seems to be a lot of regional differences in price for the same machines.

LS XJ2025 TLB was one tractor that I wanted to checkout but just not close enough. A lot of tractor for the dollar. Though I am very happy with my MF. No way I’d ever pay green prices
