Gravity fed transfer tank?

Towing something without a suspension system at a safe highway speed might be a problem.

Would be pretty dumb to tow this on a highway. I'll be going 30mph tops, 2.5 miles on paved roads and around 2.5 miles on dirt roads.

I have a 50 gallon aluminium fuel tank off a semi I'd planned on making into a gravity feed fuel tank. I have an inch hose for it. It should flow pretty decent.

Provided it is well vented; the regular fuel cap vent won't let in enough air for rapid feeding.

I have never towed a farm wagon (no suspension) on the highway but with my tractor, top speed is 15 mph and I still have to slow down for dips, pavement repairs, and intersection humps to keep all the wheels on the ground.

I would bet the hose running down the front of the tank had a pump on it as it appears it is connected to a draw pipe up top. You could get a good 12V fill rite pump and be all set.

Yeah I got to thinking about it after you mentioned it, the dirt roads are pretty bumpy. We'll have to see how that works out.
