Kinda figured it would be that much, too heavy for me. How is yours working out for you? What do you haul on it and what do you pull it with?

You should probably be looking for a 10,000 lb. GVWR trailer, either new or used.
My preference in trailers is ALWAYS new!
You get new tires, new wheel bearings, new brakes, new lighting, new decking, and new paint or powder coat (no rust).
If you like to do trailer repair, you certainly can buy many new parts/tires/sandblasting/paint, and repair a used trailer, but you will spend more dollars than you think.
New is hassle free.
A new trailer will hold it's value very well, as it too, becomes a used trailer.

I have a 12k Bri-mar deckover that has a 8k payload capacity. I want a trailer that can safely carry about 12k. My truck is rated for towing 17,400 lbs so I will proably end up getting a 18k tri axle. I'm not in a rush, eventually a decent one will pop up on craigslist or facebook market place.
