Haven't known many women, have you? If she has everything, buy her jewelry. A nice string of pearls is always a hit, and she can wear them to parties and such.

I am overrun with women, wife, daughters, jewelry is something she rarely wears.
I bought her a Rolex one year (to match mine) and it just sits in a drawer somewhere.

I posted what I want for Christmas already in this thread, but since we are telling what we buy our wives, here is my story.

I don't usually buy my wife gifts any more, because when we first married (32 years ago) I went into a really nice women's clothing store and tried on many women's fur coats. We are about the same size and I wanted to get one that fit her. I bought her what I thought was an nice fur coat, and she wore it one time and sold it in a garage sale a few years later. Now, I tell her to go get what SHE wants.

This year however, she got several rooms in our home painted. But, about 2 weeks ago we discovered a leak in our slab and had to cut holes in several walls to find and repair the leak. So, this week I hired someone to fix the walls and paint the entire rooms where the repairs were done.

And then yesterday, our air conditioner was not cooling, so she got an AC repair for Christmas too. I know it's late December, but we live in South Louisiana and it is common to run the AC for Christmas.

A long time ago my fairly new wife wanted a stereo in the worst way. At the time they made the stand alone receiver with stand alone speakers on either side of it. Come time to open stuff we usually open the less valuable stuff first and work up while taking turns. Her last turn she was very anxious to get at it. I let her open and she was very unpleasantly surprised when it was 2 12 packs of beer and a big reference book of some sort. Sometimes apologies don't work. Needless to say she was devastated and for the last 40 years now she gets everything she wants right down to the letter.

The first Christmas we were married, I went to the high end ladies shops with a hand written list, I couldn’t screw that up! I miss not shopping for her this year, not as much as I miss her.
