A very warm 61 here with temps dropping all day in rain. Definitely an indoor day.

Have always found the Sunday before Christmas to be special. Helps to remind me/us of what the day means, the Joy of it all.

41 and gusty going up to only 43. Got a nice shower yesterday afternoon but less than .2 inches...been dry.

12 of us had a good time and great meal last night...a bit of fireworks between 2 of my sons over a debate on a political/social issue that caused some hard feelings, but hopefully Christmas spirit will prevail.

27 right now...and that's where it's going to stay today. The forecast is for 3-5 inches of snow tonight and another 5 to 8 on Christmas Day. So far, we've gotten close to 40 inches in the last 7-8 days.
No particular plans today, but I will top off the tractor's fuel tank.
Wife and Step-daughter will be wrapping presents over the course of the day.

First cup of coffee has been poured. 16° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 24° with snow in afternoon. Son and his family are coming over to celebrate Christmas this afternoon. I may finish unpacking chipper before they show up. Going to be a white Christmas here.
Randy, see what you started. Now we have tea drinkers. Coffee is a diuretic. For me drinking it too strong _______. Well I won't go there.

40 inches in the last 7-8 days.

Wow, over three feet of snow already.

A cup of Earl Grey tea would be nice. With a buttery, raisin filled scone...

3 and we are going to a high of 21 with flurries. Wind SW 3 mph.

We are going to have a white Christmas! Never mind the foot and a half thick blanket we already have.
To me there is something magical about a heavy snow on Christmas day.
I need to get out and clean up the previous inch or so that has fallen over the past 3 or 4 days.

You all have a happy and safe day/night before Christmas.

First cup, 34 deg and the rain has stopped.
Took my wife to the casino yesterday and she did get the shopping done she wanted so all set now. She had $125 in "free play" for the slots that lasted her about 5 minutes. Felt bad for her and handed her $ 100 from my emergency stash she won $175 cashed that out with the hundred I gave her and quickly stashed it in her pocketbook she's up 275 and I'm out 100. Strange how that works I would have at least offered the hundred back.
I'm sure stores will be packed but I need to fight the crowds to grab just a few groceries for tomorrow's dinner, wife making her cheese cake today then I'll throw her out of the kitchen so I can get ready for tomorrow

I have made a prime rib roast for the last 30 years since my dad had passed this years is 26 pounds and because my daughter in law doesn't eat red meat I started to make her stuffed shrimp, now everyone thought it would be a good idea if dad made surf and turf now I also need to make 20 shrimp.
Any good rib recipes out there
