When the weather is real cold and soaking wet I have 4 1000 lb steers I let in the barn to get out of the weather. I clean the barn at each feeding, twice a day when they are allowed in. I don't need a pitch fork when it's this cold, frozen pies I just pick up and throw in the manure pile. Their water tank is a 150 gallon tank that just holds maybe 25 gallons now. Frozen bottom, sides and I keep busting the top out that keeps getting smaller and smaller.

If outside today, the cooler is used to keep the beer from freezing.

We usually go wheeling on 1 Jan. The gang woosed out today. Most of the buggies don't have heat and only a few have a windshield. I wanted to send out a few teasing texts about the manhood of those involved. But I chose to just quietly let it go. This is the first 1 Jan in several years we haven't wheeled.
