I do have a rototiller in mind. I did a little clearing today and the wife noted how much better the soil was than she expected in the back half of the yard, looks rich and black where the front is just this red muck and mud. That will probably happen. I'm going to try to resist the grapple and backhoe.. we'll see. :confused2:

Well seij, good luck with your new machine. In the end, it really doesn't matter what any brand a person gets. How YOUR tractor fits YOUR needs is all that matters. You'll see.
When I was searching for mine a few years ago, I discovered Kubota made the best tractor in my opinion. I ended up with a Mahindra 3016 which I didn't think came anywhere near the build quality of the Kubota. The Mahindra simply met my metric of how I need a tractor to be, better than the Kubota.
Never regretted the purchase with a great dealer to boot.

The next upgrade for mine is going to be operator upgrade, lol. I definitely need some seat time.

I bought a Kioti CK20HST in 2011. Remarked to the wife a couple years later that if anything happened to me to not sell it cheap because they bring nearly as much used as new. Her reply was that my sons-in-law would be fighting over it in the front yard before the funeral. Now I realize they wouldn't have a chance, she would keep it for her own use.

First time I have ever heard that fit and finish was lacking on Kioti or LS for that matter. It does seem to be a common complaint on some Mahindra models.

Its not lacking at all ! That's just something they have to convince themselves of so they can justify spending more money for their brand. The other argument you will see is when someone who has never torn the machine's down into pieces try and say one is engineered better than the other. Both statements are next to impossible to argue unless your an engineer or a tractor mechanic who has been inside both machines so it easily deceives the OP, and gives the current poster satisfaction in some form.
