I hardly think that the lost lives of an ambassador and three other Americans should be called "crap"...the word much better describes the thought process that went into the majority of your posts in this thread...
Those lives were lost because the powers that be failed to act...they failed to act strictly because of political ills and images they were trying to protect at a delicate time.

As for the tampering of temperature data...They got caught red handed...and FYI...when one part of a consensus investigates and reports on another part of the same consensus...it should not take a savant to figure out how the report will read...but it does paint a very clear picture of their total lack of credibility and their willingness to do anything to make their theory/agenda more believable...

Be advised...you would be well served to look up the difference between the words "denialist" and "Devils Advocate" it might surprise you...I know it will enlighten you...

Several points: actually the thread is a continuation of the original thread started by another member . That said the Benghzi episode was inexcusable, being careful with political language, if it occurred under a different administration, the media would most definitely label the cause "criminal". As for your assessment of a certain "latent behavior", it was classic "slash and burn", a parody of the Naval Aviator term, Crash and ..........

As for tampering with climate data, it is the most expedient manner to report an end justified by the means.

Yes, ice cream is much more interesting. Besides this discussion of global warming is never going to change these entrenched opinions. Data is no longer data, facts are now fabricated and quotes come from unidentified sources.

Besides - anybody who posts will NEVER live long enough to witness an outcome. So BS is the supreme "coin of the realm".

I broke my tooth on ice cream once.... I made the mistake of throwing chocolate chips into plain vanilla ice cream. The chips froze. Anyone ever notice that a frozen chocolate chip profile view looks surprisingly like the profile view of a splitting wedge? Split an upper molar right in half! $1200 for root canal and crown.

On the serious side, I have a strong view on manmade global warming, a f@rt in the wind. Climate is always changing, from an ice age to today. Weather patterns change all the time, ocean temps and flows control all that. We are just a pi$$ in the ocean.
And then the manipulated data. Money is behind it all. The theft of ours. How the heck do politicians get so filthy rich?

Been involved in gummint reports, i know the game. Picking a solution than propping it up with "facts" is SOP. all i will say.

My opinion wont change yours, neither will yours change mine. Just another dead horse that has been whapped to death over and over again.

Now back to ice cream, i am willing to experiment with ice cream. You might change my mind on what is best, but you gotta give me ice cold frozen samples, none of that warm melting gunk.

When it was frosties, vanilla is best. But compared to real ice cream, frosties are garbage, either flavor. Dairy queen isnt much better, but cold stone isnt bad.

Dairy Queen isn't ice cream... its soft serve (frozen and compressed) ice milk. It can't be called ice cream because it doesn't have enough butter fat.

On a side note... I met my wife when we both worked at Dairy Queen in early high school years. So I have a special place in my heart for Dairy Queen.... even though they got rid of Cherry topping a couple years ago!
