Ford Ranger is Officially Back

Yes, my old Hilux was the best small pickup i ever had for the money. Paid $200 for it and you could load a heck of a lot of weight on it before it started to notice it. It was three different colors, but i didn't care, though i think the valet at the very expensive hotel, probably parked it out on the street.

I had that opinion for years until I actually got a carpeted truck. (part of a conv. "group") It seemed to clean up better from normal mud & coffee. I imagine not so much with grease & oils but that's not a concern for my use. Of course vinyl or carpet, the floors got a set of vinyl "liners"

I've found those "high dollar" plastic matts work wonders. Take them out every 6 months and hit them with the pressure washer and looks good as new.

I’ve never bought a new truck. How much price difference is there between a bare bones truck vs something with reasonable options.

I just remove, dump the dirt and debris off of mine, put them back in and good to go for 3 months. No way I would wait 6 months :D. Gotta maintain your equipment.

Use the "Build My Truck" feature on the companies trucks, Ford, GM, Ram websites. Easy. You'll see. They often have a rolling dial that calculates in real time as you add stuff you'd like to have, of course, right? hahahaha That thing will roll like the old fashioned gas pumps did when gas hit $3.50 a gallon.

You can buy a work truck for well under 30K. In fact, if you can still find a left over 2017, I priced a pretty nice one (1/2 ton) for $24,500 plus tax in the real world. Not bad at all. But step up to an BLT, RLS, High Sierra or what names they use? :D

Holy Cow!!! $50,000 PLUS is dead on easy to blow right past in a heart beat. On a half ton, 4 door, 4 wheel, average engine and still not max out what the very, very elite top models go for.

I WISH THEY WOULD TRY THAT WITH A RANGER OR S10!!!

I bought my first Toyota a year ago. Used with 119K and it runs like a top as if it were new. It has what is rated as one of Toyota’s best engines ever and I expect it to outlive me. I am now looking at trading in my Impala for a used Camry. I like well designed equipment. Ie Kubota, Stihl, Ford, Toyota, Honda. My brands of choice.
