You mind is already made up, get rid of the Massey asap and get the machine you believe will be better...which judging by your comments...is any other brand....

My mind is made up that I’m tired of fighting with this tractor. Is there something wrong now with expecting something to work right? You would be aggravated also if your tractor let you down as much as this one. As I stated I don’t want to go into debt for a different tractor. I just said a few posts up I’d probably be willing to accept them getting the tractor fixed of all issues and extending a warranty. So where have any of my comments been off base, unfounded or unreasonable?

I may think about getting out of this tractor and into a 4700 series if I can work something out with my dealer. Does anyone have any input on them?

Just saw this thread. I looked really hard at a 4707. Loved the cab layout, had plenty of room and a buddy seat but was the loudest inside of everything I looked at. Guess the bigger the cab the more room for noise to get in. Negatives on it were the loader looked a little on the lite weight side despite the rated capacity plus no self leveling, cost over 8K more than the Kioti I finally bought, and the dealer said that it was made in China. It is hard but I really try not to buy stuff from unfriendly countries like China and Russia. My dollars and my choice.

Well capt howdy, I clued you in about having a negative opinion out of a massey cause you have problems, problems and more problems with your massey. Just a suggestion, but live out here were we really work our tractors. I'd say 90+ percent of the tractors are John Deere and/or case-ih. They pretty much hold up pretty well around here. After my massey experience I now know why most everything is John Deere and/or case-ih. Might look into the idea of getting out of the massey and looking into a John Deere or case-ih. Just a thought.

If u dig deep enough you will find that all brands have their issues You just have to research hard enough to find out what brand is having what problems.

This is true. I could get another brand and have problems all over again. I'm hoping this all gets worked out, I really would rather not come out of pocket for anything.

I am following this thread, hopefully Mark will get in contact with you and your dealer to get these issues resolved. Where in KY are you?

They may try to get you to trade it in on another one and give you a really good deal on a 4600 or 4700 but it would still cost you out of pocket I would think I hope whatever happens works out in your favor

I do not own any of these machines (4610, 4600 or 4700.) But I agree with LinemanLuke. Rarely ever will you trade in anything and not have to pay some out of pocket. My outsider's guess is it will cost you less to get the 4610 to "good machine status" than any other option. Especially if AGCO backs it like they should. Depends a lot on how far out of warranty you are and staying on the regional service rep.

No I knew if I trade it in on another tractor I would have to come out of pocket. What I was talking about is if they could get this tractor working all right and extend a warranty of some sort. The tractor is a 2013 model but it only has 255 hours.
