I haven't figured out how to do video yet but did get a few action shots today. I had the hoe on for counter balance I should make a 1000 wieght rack as several times it was tight moving around the good trees with hoe.

Skyhook, I see you've got lots of replies, some from those who actually own a B26. A few additional thoughts as a B26 owner, I have a 1/2 mile gravel drive in the mountains of NC that runs about 8 -10 percent grade the whole way up. We usually don't get that much snow but when we do I use a rear mount grading blade and the FEL. I back drag (or push) with the blade to minimize gravel loss and usually have no issues. I make the initial pass going downhill with maybe a second cleanup pass going back up and that usually works well unless there's ice. Level ground I have no issues but chains for the rear is the one add I want to make for icy times on the main grade, otherwise this approach works well for me. Since I'm seriously not into buying and changing rear wheels and I always seem to have one or both off the ground for hoe work on my property, I wouldn't consider filling the rear tires (as was mentioned, Kubota recommends against this for this model). I could see weight making a difference with a big heavy wet snow on pavement but if that's the norm, a bigger tractor is probably in order - not filled tires. Another consideration, as it is I have to gear down to medium range to get up the steeper parts of the driveway (w/B/H on), I wouldn't want to have to drag around another 500 -1000 lbs. every time I head back uphill. The tractor is bullet proof and very capable but at only 26HP with a hydrostatic trans. travel speed takes a hit on steep slopes.

I'm probably jumping here far to late but I've owned a B26 for coming on nine years and I also have a cottage in snow country where we get snow by the yard (Ok meters 'cause I live in Canada)
I have a Pronovost Puma 46" blower which has never given me any grief. That's the largest blower I'd go with, for weight and power. If I had to complain about one thing on the B26 it would be horse power. I'd love to have maybe another 5 HP but, for all that, if you know and stay within your limits it's a great machine. I haven't loaded my rear tires but I do have aggressive V bar chains. I have a fairly steep gravel hill to clear and I've never had a problem going up or down no matter the weather. The chains will tear up asphalt or concrete so if you have a paved driveway, V bars aren't the way to go.
I've read some that it's not recommended to chain up the front tires when using 4WD. Something about breaking gears but I don't know that for a fact. I've cleared snow for nine winters and never felt the need to chain up my front tires and maybe have an expensive problem later.
In another post I did write about a problem I had last winter with my range selector dropping into H from M. I was at the bottom of the hill and when I tried driving back up the tractor bogged down and almost died. I couldn't figure what was going on until I realized the selector was in high. I just thought I'd bumped it until it happened again. The selector had disengaged from the tranny and I had to make up a small bracket to keep both into contact. It just seemed like a poor design that something like that could even happen. It wasn't damaged and the tractor only had about 550 hours on it. Go figure.
