Tractor News Any rumors of Kubota coming out with a new L series tractor?

I am seriously thinking of trading my L4200 GST which I purchased in 1997 for a new L5060 GST. I am planning on getting quotes from a few dealers in my area next month. However, I wouldn't want to go through with the purchase now if Kubota was coming out with a new L series in the near future. Like only a year out.

Just checking if anyone out there has heard any rumors?

I've been watching for tractor updates, and haven't seen the L mentioned. I'm watching for the B-Series to adapt the new BX features. Guess that'll come the day after I buy a BX 80-Series... says Murphy.

There is a new gas powered “sportier” RTV coming out soon, and a new line of Landpride quick hitches. That’s all he mentioned...

The economy Ls were refreshed from the 00 to the 01 series 2ish years ago.

The Grand L 40 series was 2007-2013 I believe. Replaced by the current 60 series. Really other than emissions stuff & resulting engine changes there isnt much different between the 40s & 60s. If it hadn't been for the emissions laws I bet the 40s would have lasted a lot longer. So I doubt there are any urgent updates to drive a new Grand series in the new future.

Bingo.

I shopped the JD 4066R before buying my L6060 but declined because the JD dealer was arrogant and generally unhelpful. He was also 30 miles distant, whereas my Kubota/CNH dealer is only 4 miles distant and has treated me well. Frankly, I preferred the features of the 4066R to my L6060.

Kubota needs both EPTO and fender mounted hitch assist on the L6060 to continue to compete with JD.

I told the Kubota representative when I last spoke with him at my dealers annual open house but could get no meaningful comment.
