John Deere 620 & Kioti CK30 HST
Hello, very helpful people here. I am changing the hydraulic oil, as per owner's manual on a Kioti CK 30 with a front loader and backhoe. Manual says squat about the oil in these accessories. Just started this project and want to do it right. I am inclined to just change the oil and both filters and call it a day. I do know I must run the tractor awhile and let the oil circulate before operating. I had many responses to my first post ( this is my second) thank you, and I look forward to maybe contributing in the future. This is the tractors first hydraulic oil change. Thanks again. BTW , wanted to purchase a service manual and found more than a couple scam sites and poorly rated ones. Dealer had one for $130, tried a couple of links on this site , they did not work. Any advice on this ?

Don't need to worry about the fluid in the various implements just make sure you warm the tractor up well before you change the fluid and cycle all the cylinders a few times. The warm up will get any particles moving and keep them in the oil so they will get flushed out. Replacing most of the oil will renew the additives and remove water. Any of the fluid still in the other lines and cylinders will get diluted with the new fluid and cleaned with the new filter.
I got mine from this site Kioti Tractor Service Manuals PDF Download
seems to be ok no cc issues.

After I change my oil I pull the return line on the implement. I cycle the implement while I collect the return oil in a waste container. You'll see it change color when the new stuff comes through. Of course you have to keep adding oil to the transmission to equal what you're taking out which can be considerable for something like a front loader. I think mine usually has about 1/2 gallon in the loader. This isn't really that big a deal, you can just change the transmission and forget it. I started doing this because I share an implement (a post pounder) with a neighbor and he uses different oil in his tractor. So I got in the habit of flushing the pounder with my oil before I use it.
