Another gray day today. But tomorrow is supposed to be near 50! and clear. I am going to finish the handicap ramp at the rental. I should be able to get r done!!

I still have a little cough, but I feel much better. I hope you guys get over this crud. Its about freaking time!!

Glad you are feeling better this stuff seems to last two weeks or so if our son is any indication

First and second week of Feburary time frame. Pieces of polar vortex will break off sending cold air down into Texas and the eastern seaboard. May be some moderation in between but it will be cold and energy coming from the west will tap gulf moisture producing precipitation. Drew should again be in the cross hairs literally. There are signs cold will last entire month of February. I also believe you will get some of the frozen stuff again

Good evening all. 36F this morning, clear and calm. High temp 64F, moderate but gusty wind and sky partly cloudy. Made it to dentist this morning, ran errands while in town. Replaced lights in one of the garage fixtures, no light, but will flicker occasionally. Will try some diagnostics before replacing anything else.

So what's to stop you from driving down to Raleigh next week and parking your trailer out in the parking lot with big "FOR SALE" signs all over it? Pick up a dozen donuts on the way over and have a big thermos of coffee and some styrofoam cups, give 'em away to anyone that comes by, and I bet you get it sold before noon...

Good morning. Weather maps show high pressure hovering over us today to keep the rain at bay. May only last 1 day so I better get on and make the most of it.

Did anyone notice the gun manufacturer Weatherby is moving to Wyoming?

Bups, the move must be a blow for many of those working at Weatherby, although good to hear the company is still thriving. When I was young I only saw their "Weatherby Magnum" big game rifles in print. Nowadays the Vanguard range of rifles are available here too at very modest prices. IIRC the barrels and possibly the action are currently made for them in Japan by Howa and are well regarded.

Colder than expected 22 degrees out. But warming up nicely into 50's, low 60's tomorrow. Then bottom seems to fall out.
So I have two days to get some things done outside before the weather quits cooperating.

Good morning all, 22 this morning heading to 54 and sunny, rain this weekend. Went out to the shop to finish working on flattening the block plane soul and ended up working on a dove tail guide fro the few min. that I had. Wife is starting to feel lousy. Tummy feels bad, slept a good bit during the day. No fever so that is a plus.

Thanks for the ensure idea guys, will ask the Doc when we talk.
