There’s plenty of quadcopter videos on YouTube that fly to or above this guys goal. Are they in on the hoax too? I’ve flown mine to 13000 feet above sea level. I just started on a mountain they was over 12000 feet.

For that matter he could take an elevator up several buildings in the world and thousands of Television towers that are higher than his stated goal of 1/3 of a mile or 1760 feet.

It about has to be for fame. There’s faster, better, cheaper, and safer ways to get to that altitude.

Perhaps the height was determined because it's too low to see the curvature therefore he can "prove" the earth is flat.

He is going to need to get close to 50,000 feet to see much curvature. This whole "rocket" venture is just stupid.
