Why do you, in the Northern Hemisphere, see the "Big Dipper" constellation and the North Star whilst I, in the Southern Hemisphere, can't see them?

Why do I, in the Southern Hemisphere, see the "Southern Cross" constellation and you North Hemispherical residents cannot?

AND, at the same time, you see the constellation "Orion" standing on his feet whereas I see him doing a hand-stand?!?

That’s because if you look across a long enough stretch of water it distorts your vision. Kinda like how your straw in a glass of water looks bent.
