Clouds finally dissipated and there’s a beautiful full moon, very bright, very lonely too. Went to dinner with some family and friends, middle grandson’s 6th birthday.

After all your EMT stories, LS, I wasn't sure you were crazy or not. After reading this, I'm sure.:laughing::laughing:

But don't feel bad. Somewhere out in the storage trailer is one running OS9. I keep it, you know, just in case any of the software in that desk drawer full of 4" floppy discs ever needs to get run again.:confused2: Oh, and I also have what used to pass for a Mac laptop, also running OS9, out there, too. Guess that makes two of us, huh?:cool2::drink:

Sometimes I think I am crazy for working EMS, no wait.. I think working EMS IS making me crazy!:eek
Hey, do you remember AppleWorks? Wife still uses it! Great old program... That's why we still have the 'puter with OS7... Won't work w/ 9

Double almost full moon tonight, it will be cloudy tomorrow so I was enjoying it tonight- no falls yet . . .View attachment 537817

The falls will occur during the day tomorrow, when the moon is on the other side of the earth. Not sure of the time, but around late morning, early afternoon.

Well, after all the horror stories during the past few days, got notified today that someone tried stealing one of our ambulances from the hospital bay while the crew was inside dropping off a patient.

LOL years ago a PSY patient walked out of the ER and jumped in a Police Vehicle, not mine the Shift Supervisor, and took it for a ride didn't end well before she pulled over several towns away after a slow pursuit one of the Sargent got into an accident fractured his hip. IT WAS A NIGHT WITH A FULL MOON!

Reminded me of a similar story that happened about 5 yrs ago. Another medical transport company had dropped off a patient. The unit was parked, motor running, with one of the attendants sleeping in the back. A couple jumped in and took off with the unit. There was a chase by PD for about 20 miles down the interstate, they crossed the median and tried to get back into the city. Spike strips ended that! Thank goodness no one got hurt. They were high on meth.

Fired up the WBS this morning, got dog sitting duties, bike ride at noon beat the worst of the wind. Garage fixture needs new ballast, got that ordered. got one chain sharpened and the sprocket replaced on chainsaw, got 2 more chains to go, need to try out sharp chain, this is my first try at hand sharpening  Moon on the lake tonight.

LS, If your dentist is finishing up what you started with a backhoe, man you must have some serious dental bills...:D

took the tiller down to the dealer, put everything away, just too wet and cold/nasty to be out. tomorrow is another day.

Didn't proof read that one too good!! Now LMAO too!:laughing::laughing:

I'd like to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. They are really working. My back is still tender, but only a smidge compared to what the pain was. Prayers for CWB's neighbor.

Roy, my 50 something year old friend had really high PSA's. He went on a long motorcycle tour through Mexico, central and south America. Eating lite native meals, lots of ceviche fish, lots of fruits, many of which he hadn't had much of before. Nothing scientific here but he lost 15-20 lbs and when he came back to the states after being down there for many months, his PSA's were down to normal. I can't remember his high number, but it may have been like 27 or something and they came down to 2. something. Eat lite, reduce stress, stay active, drink lots of good water is his new motto.

Home sharpened chains...not my favorite thing to do but a good job brings a bit of pride out in me when I put them on and start cutting. I have a borazon grinding wheel at work that I can quickly touch up a chain, but it is not a rounded radius edge, it is about 3/16 wide and flat. It works great when I hit the chisel edge and it takes the metal away so fast it doesn't usually blue from heat.

Prayers for all who need them. (most of us)....especially rip's wife....Tops....BEF....and prayers for a good night's sleep.
