Tires Kubota MX Series, 2-WD. Does front axle allow adjustment of front wheel spacing?

Do the two wheel drive versions of MX tractors front axles permit fairly easy adjustment of front wheel spread?

Like the 2-WD Ford 8N-2N-9N models and Ferguson tractors, or via some other process? Does the front end need to be elevated to change wheel spread?

If it's like the previous generation of MXs, yes it allows for the width to be changed easily. I'd have to check my manual, but I recall seeing that they offer a pretty wide range of configurations. Yeah, I think you're gonna have to lift the front to do it though. With the exception of spin out rims on the rear of a few older ag models, I've never seen a way to adjust the width without doing some heavy lifting.

With a hydraulic jack to lift, you're done in 20-30 minutes or less. The MX in 2WD, for the right purpose, is a great tractor.

Glad to hear that you like it. It'll probably gain a little power each tank for the first dozen or so. A big saw sure is nice to have when the wood gets over 20". Not only does it make your time more effective, it will increase the lifespan of your 261 by taking the heavy lifting off its shoulders.
