Up early, went out to a business group mixer at a local brew pub. Beer was great. Food sucked. Hardly any people in the place, but it was snowing outside. Didn’t sleep well, so got up early, I prefer sleeping until at least 6, but I made coffee at 4:30. Looking at more snow plowing in my future, and if I didn’t have my Kubota, I’d be screwed. 1 to 3 inches plus what we had last night. Amateur hour compared to some of you guys, but enough for me!��

And he's not done yet, Eric. Yesterday's excuse had something to do with a clutch throwout bearing, a Subaru turbo clutch, and an RJS bell housing not fitting up the way they need to. And once again, all the parts have been sitting in his shop for at least a year...:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Good Morning!!!! 59F @ 7:00AM. Partly cloudy. Near record high temperatures. High near 70F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.
We've broken the high temperature record two days running so far, and there's another chance at it today. Not looking forward to this summer.
If your lights are flashing in time with hitting road bumps, Buckeye, you've got a loose or rusted connection somewhere. I'd start with the headlight switch, unless you're seeing other things flash, then either something in the charging system or the battery connections. Happy hunting!
The stock market has erased all the gains made since last November's election, and is now officially in correction territory. It's also returned to the historical average rate of gain, so perhaps things will settle down soon. Been using the declines to take nibbles with an S&P index fund, and someday I'll look back and probably wish I'd taken bigger bites.
Got a call from the mechanic yesterday at about 8:30PM, but didn't want to ruin an otherwise pleasant evening by answering. Probably wants me to machine up an adaptor of some sort to bandaid his problem.

Made arrangements for the new homeowners policy yesterday. Still well over double the old rate, but better coverage with a smaller but well rated company. Hopefully there will be more options next year if competition increases as new companies enter the market. My guess is there's a huge demand after last year's fires, and with another blazing summer on the way, fire weather will be back, too. The only saving grace is that so far the lack of rain has kept the brush from growing so much, a major factor in last year's troubles due to the record rainfall then.
