Tractor
Mitsubishi MT372 1973
Hi guys. Im very new to the tractor market and tractors in general. I am hot rod guy though and am mechanical. I am looking at a Mitsubishi MT372 1973 tractor 15 hp engine and they say 12 hp at the pto.

Parts? much out there in case something breaks?

Post hole digger..Can I run one on here. If i dig the hole slow and lift up every 6 inches?

It comes with rear pull behind finish mower. Runs and drives....$2200 ok on price.

I would like to make a plow or buy a snow blower attachment for it if I can. I also would like to build a front end loader for it too. Im a deign engineer for a living and probably can desing and make one for 500 bucks. Will this tractor handle a front end loader ok?

Welcome to TBN and the forum. I can't help you on the unit you are looking at. Just hang on - somebody should be by soon with the info you need.

Price sounds right, parts are likely no harder nor easier to find than any other 40 year old Japanese tractor. I used to have a 13hp Kubota with front end loader, it would get a full bucket. It had a 540 pto, but I never used it, however the tractor did pull a 3pt 5' landscape rake okay.

Parts availability is one thing, at a price you can afford... now that is another. Break something and you will find out if it is available and at what cost. There are plenty of tractors with easier on the budget parts. I have never owned a Mits...but a friend had one that they installed a FEL on and it broke the bell housing. The cost was way over what any of us thought it would be.

They hydraulic components would be expensive.

I am thinking the actual cost for the loader and hydraulic cylinders will be under 300 bucks. I would make the loader my self and I can buy steel for super cheap. Its the hooking to the tractor I am wondering on. I see one hose under the seat. I would think there would be another return??
