Kubota RTVX1120 rear suspension recall?

Just got a call about a service campaign on my rtvx 1120, they say the rear knuckles need to be replaced as they some of them have cracked. Anyone else get a call on this? Curious.

I own a new RTVX1100C and have heard nothing, but now that you mention it, I have seen several RTVX models in my dealer' shop with the knuckles removed and new ones in boxes nearby.

I'm on first name basis with everyone at my dealer, will be there tomorrow and will ask.

I was of a problem with the early X series but I understood that had been resolved but perhaps that wasn’t correct. I’m interested to find out.

I think you are right steve, mine is an early one, they told me it came with rear knuckles that are aluminum and they need to be replaced with steel ones. I called a dealer a lot closer to me and he didn't seem to be on board with that, he said if I brought it in they would inspect them to see if they were okay? Thats why I thought I would ask others.

I'd like to know more, and maybe see a picture of the affected area so I can inspect it. A couple times when loaded up with firewood, I swear the camber angle of the left rear wheel looked odd to me, but I could have been imagining things. I bought mine in late 2015 and I think it was manufactured in the summer of 2015.

How old is your unit S219? I would think you could take your serial number in to a Kubota dealer or online to Kubota directly and inquire about any recalls or safety campaigns on your unit

I called another dealer an hour or so further down the road from me this morning, very nice on the phone, gave him my serial number, he called me back maybe a half hour later, said I was in the recall and he had two kits in stock so I made an appt. with them to get mine fixed. He said the kit had the bearings, bushings, and those joints. They had most of the ones they had sold early on done and had a couple of kits left.
